CNC Developer (AZ)

CNC DeveloperTremendous opportunity to join a dynamic company as a CNC Developer. This position is open due to our rapid growth and high product demand.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write and manage CNC programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in machining operations.
  • Utilize FANUC G/M code, Heidenhain TNC 640, and Renishaw Probe and Laser. (MasterCAM, SolidWorks, or others).
  • Interpret engineering drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished parts, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
  • Review and improve CNC programs as well as 30% new development.
  • Ensure all CNC programming written is in accordance with production prints and quality standards.
  • Continually maintain the CNC programming database.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose common CNC problems, consulting with the CNC Engineer as necessary.
  • Communicate with supervisors, engineers, production, quality, and other team members for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
  • Oversee CNC machines during production and adjust to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Advise the team on technical advancements to increase production.
  • Maintain quality standards through an understanding of the Quality Management System
  • Develop effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, and other staff.

  • 5+ years of CNC programming in Mastercam (looking for mid to senior/expert-level candidates)
  • 5 axis programming.
  • Blueprint Reading
  • GD&T
  • Inspection Tools & Methods.
  • Must adapt to a changing work environment and competing demands and deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Heidenhain TNC 640
